HLC Type, managed by Hugo Le Corre, is a design practice dedicated to publishing typefaces. Intrinsically linked to graphic design, our typefaces are meticulously crafted to meet modern visual requirements and preferences. Closely related to graphic design, typefaces are thought and made to match contemporary visual needs. We believe that typefaces play a pivotal role in the realm of graphic design, serving as the backbone of visual communication. Each font is meticulously conceptualized and crafted, undergoing a thoughtful design process to ensure its harmonious integration within diverse contexts.
Licensing Model
The value of a typeface is directly linked to the size of the company obtaining the license, gauged by its employee count. The license price is based on the “Company Size”, defined as the overall count of individuals employed by the company. The client or end customer, who commissions design work, is the rightful holder of the license, not the commissioned designer or design agency. In other terms, the client is the licensee and is the one who needs to purchase the license. For further details regarding our licenses, please have a look at out End User License Agreement (EULA).
Available Licenses
Desktop License (OTF)
With a desktop license, you have permission to use the fonts for both print and digital documents. This license also covers their use on social media platforms and in videos.
Web License (WOFF/WOFF2)
With a Web License, you are allowed to embed the font software (WOFF/WOFF2) on one web domain and only with the @font-face technology.
App License
With an App License, you are allowed to embed the font software into one app (mobile app, web app, video game).
Trial Fonts

In other words, Trial fonts serve the purpose of helping you decide whether you’d like to purchase a license.
Discounts
We offer discounts for students (40%) and non-commercial projects. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email.
